The prestigious Cannubi vineyard lies where three communes of the appellation converge: Barolo, Castiglione Falletto and La Morra. The reputation of the vineyard is legendary, with the label of the oldest remaining bottele of Piemontese wine bearing the name Cannubi, dated 1752. The entire Cannubi hillside is one of the most prestigious growing areas in the Barolo area, encompassing in total, only about 12 acres. Winemaker Vittorio Camerano used ultra-traditional methods in the vineyard and winery to produce his Barolos. Old and extremely low-yield vines are carefully tended without any pesticides or herbicides and later harvested by hand.

Vinification
Camerano follows an extremely traditional and quality-minded approach to making Barolo. Barolos spend 10-15 days macerating; after fermentation, wineis aged in old 25, 30 and 50 hectoliter oak casks.
